What is the Postgraduate Committee?
The committee is a branch of the BPS Division of Health Psychology (DHP) to promote the interests of all Health Psychology postgraduates and Stage 2 Trainees. The committee aims to provide improved peer support and guidance, relevant training and career resources and effective communication between the DHP and Health Psychology postgraduates. The committee meets 4 times a year and all members take an active role in the general running of the committee and organising postgraduate events, including the DHP Postgraduate Conference.

Attends BPS DHP Committee meetings and represents postgraduate views.
Studying for a PhD looking at the impact on social support of adolescents with Type 1 Diabetes, with research interests in stress and PNI/PNE.

Trainee Health Psychologist
Improves and consolidates the link between Scotland and the national postgraduate subcommittee. Represents postgraduate issues, training and support needs for Scotland. Attends meetings of the Scottish Branch of the DHP as a postgraduate member.
Research interests are in design, delivery and evaluation of health behaviour change interventions for disadvantaged groups, and assessing and enhancing the health behaviour change competence of health professionals.

Trainee Health Psychologist
Improves and consolidates the link between Scotland and the national postgraduate subcommittee. Represents postgraduate issues, training and support needs for Scotland. Attends meetings of the Scottish Branch of the DHP as a postgraduate member.
